After three years of closure, Le Havre Natural History Museum has been given a makeover and is reopening its doors to the delight of young and old alike! Completely redesigned, it offers five floors accessible to all, with seamless visitor routes, immersive spaces and plenty of discoveries to share as a family.
Nearly 600 objects are on display: Normandy fossils, stuffed animals, minerals, artefacts from around the world, and the unmissable drawings by Charles-Alexandre Lesueur. Visitors can observe jellyfish, encounter a Normandy dinosaur or even venture into the local forest thanks to a space specially designed for toddlers.
The new Museum invites everyone to explore biodiversity, understand the links between nature and society, and marvel together at the richness of life.

De nombreux espaces ludiques et interactifs associés au grand retour des collections vous attendent pour vous faire découvrir et comprendre les richesses du monde animal, végétal, minéral et des arts graphiques. D'ici là, le Muséum garde le lien et vous propose une multitude de rendez-vous hors les murs. Retrouvez les ateliers et les événements sur leur agenda et sur leur internet.
The former Palace of Justice is home to exhibits of zoology, ornithology, palaeontology, prehistory and the naturalist 19th century painter Lesueur.
